Keith Haring "Untitled (Herb Ritts Collage)" Original Painting
KEITH HARING - "Untitled (Herb Ritts Collage)" Painting
About the Artwork:
Keith Haring is considered one of the most important Street Art and Pop Artists, spreading positivity and messages of peace with his immediately recognizable figures and unique style. Keith was deeply committed to fighting Apartheid in South Africa, and bringing awareness to the AIDS Epidemic as it swept throughout Africa.
Keith did an extremely limited series of original artworks in unofficial collaboration with Herb Ritts, using cutouts out Ritts photography in collage styles. This painting available represents Keith Haring's inspiration and awe of Tribal African society, with the Tribal leader at the top of the heirarchy, being protected by giant Elephant Tusks and watching over his tribe which is represented by the characters in red at the bottom of the painting.
ArtLife proudly offers this painting, as one of the best priced original Keith Haring paintings on the market. This painting is officially registered with The Keith Haring Foundation, and has been assigned an Authentication Number.
